Dan, Dan Dan.  Love your blog, but not necessarily your politics.  I too hope this war will be swift, but don't agree with your assertion that Bush's actions are reckless.  What else do you propose he do?

The title of the Caucus event was "An Overview of the Managed Acquisition Process and A Software Overview and Roundtable." (link)  The presenter was Ron Scruggs, ICN Director of Consulting.

I attended the inaugural meeting of the Columbus chapter of CAUCUS.  "Established in 1997, Caucus membership today numbers more than 1,700 technology procurement professionals. Caucus is dedicated to supporting its members in all facets of the procurement process."  Of all the CLE events (and this wasn't even a CLE) I've attended, this was by far the best and most informative session that I've been to.

I just love this phrase:  "Target of Opportunity"  Thanks Google.  I got the news story that was posted "11 minutes ago."

Denise points to some articles to read.  Such as "Tim Hadley's reconstructed deconstruction of Creative Commons license nuts and bolts."

And to prove the power of linking, I went to Kevin Heller's personal knowledge management strategy (<-- this link to the left), and clicked on the comment link and found a comment by AJR of nakedownership.  AJR "highly recommend a copy of Net Snippets. You can do the same thing without all of the cutting and pasting. Further, you get better search and index functions. The downside is that the database is only available on your harddrive (unless you move it, I guess)"

I downloaded a trial version of Net Snippets, and readily see the value of this product.  The product does have search capabilities, but unfortunately it doesn't do a search of the stuff you "snip."  Hopefully in later versions you can do full text searches.

Cost of the program is $79.95.  I'll most likely sign up after the trial.
