Tutti ormai saprete che un AstroFisico Italiano - Roberto Giacconi - è stato insignito del Nobel per la Fisica 2002 assieme ad un Americano - Raymond Davis - ed un Giapponese - Masatoshi Koshiba. Ma ecco come viene riportata la notizia da parte di SpaceToday.net:

"Three physicists from the US and Japan have won the 2002 Nobel Prize for their work in x-ray and neutrino astronomy. One half of the award was given to American astrophysicist Riccardo Giacconi, president of the Associated Universities, Inc., in Washington, for pioneering the field of x-ray astronomy."

Infatti, il Prof. Giacconi è cittadino Usa....quindi - more solito - mentre sul TG1 si esulta per l'Italico ingegno che fugge all'estero, CNN segna due punti per l'America ed uno per il Giappone!... i consueti campanilismi dell'era globale!
