RICHMOND, Va. -- Associated Press reports a federal appeals court ordered a judge to resentence former heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe to at least 18 months in prison for abducting his wife and their five children from their Charlotte, N.C., home in 1998. U.S. District Judge Graham Mullen erred in giving Bowe credit for time spent on probation, a three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said Wednesday. Mullen's decision allowed Bowe to escape prison time.
