OPEN RECORDS: Teddy Dupay, former NCAA basketball

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Former Florida basketball star Teddy Dupay is calling "ridiculous"  charges against him contained in a campus gambling investigation that claims Dupay bet heavily on professional and college sporting events. The report, written by the University of Florida Police Dept. and obtained under an open records request by FloridaToday.com, includes statements by Dupay's former teammates that he openly spoke of his gambling and claims to document  DuPay made more than 300 telephone calls to a bookie. The report also says DuPay's laptop computer contained links to off-shore gambling sites, numerous search requests for "handicappers," and trustedcasino.com as a bookmarked Web site.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Associated Press reports former Florida basketball player Teddy Dupay asked another student to place bets for him on Gator basketball games, according to court documents.
