TICKETED: Jammal Lord, Nebraska Football
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Associated Press reports Nebraska quarterback Jammal Lord was ticketed for disturbing the peace. The 21-year-old Lord and Greichaly Cepero, also an athlete at Nebraska, appeared to be drunk and were taken to a detoxification center early Sunday. Both were later released but never arrested, police spokeswoman Katherine Finnell said. Nebraska football coach Frank Solich said the citation does not require suspending Lord from any games, but some form of discipline may be necessary.
