Anyone have a rewritable DVD?
I've been thinking of getting a rewritable DVD for backup purposes (well, I'm thinking of retiring the old VHS-C camcorder and moving to digital, but that's more research). I've got a CD-RW, but with only 650mb per CD, it's not as flexible as the 4.7GB available on a DVD. Plus, I've got two computers to backup -- both mine and my wife's.

I've seen the most press on the HP DVD200i. It sounds like a pretty decent drive with some nice capabilities. It supports both the DVD+RW and DVD+R as well as CD-RW. I still need to do some reading about the disadvantage of no DVD-RW format (does it matter?).

Anyway -- if anyone has any opinions, let me know.

Thanks for the review! We were planning on taking the kids to see this next week since I've got the week off (this was planned -- not forced. Sorry Justin)

Thank-you Microsoft
I want to publicly thank Microsoft for releasing the Rotor (a.k.a. SSCLI) sources. I am totally amazed that virtually any question that I have about the runtime can be answered using the sources.

MCAD for Microsoft .NET.
Microsoft has just announced the Microsoft Certified Application Developer credential [link]. Sorry no C++ for now :) This begs the question, how important is it to be certified ?
