Choosing Data Structures??.

There is a lot of emphasis on refactoring to improve existing code but when do you start attacking the core?  When is refactoring not enough?

Wow! I still remember my first hard drive -- a 10 MB (yes, MEGAbyte!) drive. It came in a shoebox size case and hooked up to my Atati 1040st!
