Fixed... For now.
Well, a reboot fixed my publishing problems. Has anyone else with publishing problems checked out their 'Events Log'? I decided to check mine out and noticed the following problem logged at the same time I was trying to publish:
Can't upstream because "Can't open stream because TCP/IP error code 10061 - Connection refused."
Why would my connection be refused? Oh well, the move to MoveableType starts in earnest tonight!

Beginning of the end??
This is really just a test post. Radio doesn't seem to be publishing the entry after my Atari flashback... Perhaps adding a new one will kick it into gear.

Summer is over...
One of the signs summer is really coming to an end: my usual 30-35 minute ride to work was 65 minutes today! Ugh... I need to get out on the roads earlier. Too much school traffic. Of course, that means I need to get up earlier. I'm not a morning person...

Amiga? Atari!
I was a die hard Commodore 64 user until the Amiga was produced, which I still believe is one of the best consumer multimedia computers to ever be built. The idea of having separate processors for audio, video and computation on the motherboard was visionary.
[Paresh Suthar's Radio Weblog]
Yes, it was -- but it didn't start with the Amiga. It started with the Atari 400/800. It had separate chips for sound (POKEY), Graphics (ANTIC) and the 256 color processor (CTIA or GTIA -- depending on when you bought your Atari). Not surprising, the guy who designed the 400/800 with these extra chips went on to design the Amiga too. :)
