Return of the rich client?

Developers Re-examine Rich-Client Apps. "Some corporate developers last week said they will consider switching from Web applications back to their old, familiar rich-client applications because of unpromoted features that they're just now discovering in Microsoft Corp.'s .Net framework."

I forwarded this to a number of people at work. This feature is just not promoted enough.

Blog slacker...

I've been slacking in the blogging here. Just don't have the time. As mentioned earlier, my company had some layoffs recently. On top of that, a re-shuffling of projects has but me on an aggressive schedule. And to keep things fun, I've been busy with some small ASP.NET projects at home. It's been my first exposure to doing a "real" app in ASP.NET (not just playing around with .NET) and let me tell you -- it's a huge improvement over ASP. State management, ADO.NET, user controls -- it's all fun!
