Dissecting Regsvcs.exe

Tomas posted some interesting details on his dissection of the Regsvcs.exe tool supplied with the .NET Framework. He reveals that the executable is little more than a façade for built in framework classes which perform typelibrary generation and handle various forms of registration. Very useful stuff to know, especially if you ever wanted to control some of this process yourself.

Thanks Carsten!

Thanks to fellow MVP Carsten Thomsen for the complimentary copy of "Database Programming with Visual Basic .NET, Second Edition". It arrived yesterday -- in a very heavy box (950+ pages).

When does two mean three?

When there's two lines on the home pregnancy test! Yeah!! We just recently got our 3-year-old potty trained, and now I'm looking at changing diapers again in about 8 months. Plus I'll need to get all the baby stuff out. The kids are so excited! I'm really looking forward to it.

My wife just needs to get through that first trimester and things should get a little smoother. But for the first two pregnancy's the hard part was the first two months -- extreme fatigue. That's actually what prompted us to get a test. She's been so tired lately. Now we know the reason! :)
