Blog time. Haven't blogged much recently (and I've missed a lot). Been busy with the two kids. My last blog entry was about my 5-year old's croup. Her breathing sounded even worse Tuesday night. We tried the usual technique -- sit in the bathroom with a steamy shower running for about 10 minutes and then step outside for about 5 minutes. It helped a little, but her breathing still didn't sound "right". I actually had my coat on and was about to take her to the ER (better safe than sorry). Before I went, I called the on-call pediatrician. By the time I left a message and got a callback and spoke with the doctor, her breathing had gotten a little better and she had actually fallen asleep. My wife and I watched her for about 10 minutes and then put her back to bed. That was the worst of it. She's now pretty much over it. The 3-year old got it a little bit Saturday night, but now she's down to just a cough. Ahh.... Winter... :P 9:40:44 AM
