My Canon S230 finally came in yesterday... very cool.. very small. 

I like it a lot.

Only complaint so far... no battery indicator.  Bummer.

New imaging technology gets the thumbs up. Digital Photography Review has an in-depth look at the 3.43-Sigma SD9, the first digital camera to use Foveon's X3 imaging technology,which captures red, green, and blue light with every pixel, rather than other sensors in which each pixel can only record a specific color. Apparently X3 lives up to the hype, as Digital Photography review says that the SD9 has "The best resolution per output pixel we've ever seen." This type of technology will probably find its way into most digital cameras eventually. Read... [Gizmodo]

I've always loved Mancala.  According to the DeepFUN Weblog Mancala is a name for its own class of "Count and Capture Games" is played today primarily in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Caribbean area.
