 Well, I've sold my first car. I'll miss my Jetta, but I think I think I'm in a better place than I was before.
Here are some random thoughts:
- I live close enough to work that I can beat most people from home to work walking, while they drive.
- I should have started walking to work (everyday) a long time ago.
- As a person who sits in front of a computer all day, this was the smartest thing to do. Otherwise, I should get some sort of computer powered by a "under the desk bike pedal turbine" to combat the gut.
- Its expensive: gas, insurance, car payment. Blech.
- The Jetta was a fun car. My first stick. I owe one to Aaron for picking it up for me the day I bought it. (I couldn't drive a 5-spd to save my life).
- Now, my wife and I share an environmentally friendly Pontiac Vibe. One car for two people.... who have thought of that?
- I now have room for a seqway... or do I? Heh heh heh
