Usability Guidelines Matrix.
Characteristics of the Best Systems: Here's a fantastic collection of usability guidelines that cuts across authors to reveal they're all really saying the same things, just in different ways. If all software developers would follow these rules, it'd be a whole new world.
"This is a collection of heuristics, attributes, rules and principles from leaders in the field of human-computer interaction. I've tried to group similar characteristics in the same row. In some cases, the characteristics described in the same row are somewhat different, but they are based on the similar principles of human cognition and performance."
