Yet another example of the frivolous invading the serious. Instead of the usual response, however ("...they're ruining it for everyone...oh, my...tsk,tsk,tsk...") wouldn't it just be more sensible to have categories of posting? They could even have a jury for deciding which pictures went where(which viewers would be free to ignore if they chose.) Some of us have no difficulty differentiating a flower from the earth it grows in, and the earth is a legitimate object of study itself.
