Canadian inventor patents new way to make hydrogen fuel. In the latest effort to move to a hydrogen based economy, the CBC is reporting today that Jim Andersen of New Denmark, NB has patented a method that he thinks will be a cheap and efficient way to store and produce hydrogen gas. He uses Aluminum, Caustic Soda and Water. [kuro5hin.org]

Christopher Reeve in the News. Christopher Reeve's advocacy for stem cell research and regenerative medicine has been in the news a fair amount of late. He is one of the most outspoken advocates for freedom of research for a number of years, and is very critical of anti-research legislation in the US and elsewhere.
