Life in a box

In Amélie, a man named Dominic Bretodeau is confronted with a small cigar box with his childhood possessions.  It’s life changing for him and he sobs as he goes through its contents, revisiting his youth.

I’ve been wondering about boxes and how much of a life you can put in them.  I immediately thought of Bretodeau (not Bredoteau) and his little cigar box – so small a thing could contain such big parts of who he had been.

And what of my life could I put in a box?  How would it fit?
