Talisman

I'm constantly carrying special items with me to keep my perspective in context and to cheer me up.

I'm not sure how I got it but I found a bookmark with the following inscription:

"Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage." - Anaïs Nin

I remember New Years, walking around the block in Fullerton and deciding that this year was all about having courage. And here, in front of me, a talisman for that very courage I'd need.
