Old Friends

Here is a voice I thought I'd forgotten. I found an old post online:

man - all this sales hype...

there are those who create art for other reasons than entering the "industry", and they're part of the "real" world.

words like "ranking" and "top" are just marketing lingo with no real meaning. I think that those who understand the medium fully make the most meaningful work and there are no short-cuts. Good things do take time and effort, and also, money is not the ultimate measuring tool of the success of a chosen path.

but that's just me
