Harvard

Big version here. (1.52MB)

I made a few trips out to Harvard Square, the last of which was to get a glimpse of the school and take some pictures.

The actual Harvard, smudged.  I refused to touch his shoe.

Towers, domes, and other "look up" items grace the campus.

A gateway.

Exclusivity.

Beauty.

Conspicuous consumption.

Dog and prep.

Was I impressed?  Yes, but not as much as a few days earlier when I went to visit the campus of MIT. I'm sure it's a precondition; I always respected Harvard but never cared about going there1. MIT (Christminster) is a different picture. Pictures forthcoming.

1Although if someone said "quick, quick! Harvard or Biola?" I might sell out and just say Harvard.
