Southland
I'm thinking of you tonight, looking at old pictures.

When my heart would begin to rush.

My old friend Amoeba. Actually I did a lot more purchasing in San Francisco - I used to save up all my extra dollars to splurge in the Amoeba up in the Haight Ashbury. The sad thing was that my old haunt, Aarons, was obliterated by this hegemon.

I can't get over how much color is in the southland: plastic, metallic, and natural.

Starbucks, Krispy Kreme alternatives. Pronto is up in Pasadena, off of Washington. The magic doughnuts in Whittier are at Rainbow, on the south east corner of Lambert and Painter.

At sunset, the sails go dark.

Zoom! Going 80 mph and weaving through traffic. Turn that music up and get in the zone.
