Las Vegas
From the PBS American Experience documentary on so-called "Sin City":
"Las Vegas did for architecture what the Renaissance did for art: it rendered it mobile and ephemeral."
After driving through on my way out here I've been interested to spend time in Las Vegas. To examine it as an experience. On the one hand I find myself put off by the disingenuity of fake pyramids and volcanos, but on the other it's that over-the-top, godzilla-sized wax museum effect that doesn't exist anywhere else in the world that gives me the same curiosity that G had when she watched the Discovery Health episode of an obese person having a tumor removed. Seems like it would be worth a photo study.

No Doubt On This One
For a person like me, there is rarely any total commitment on a question thrown my way. It's a bunch of caveats or disclaimers or explanations. Or I don't answer...
But this weekend I ran into one question that I can answer without any hesitation.
"Favorite Radio Station?"
KCRW in Santa Monica, CA
(although I've been listening to KEXP in Seattle more and more... )
