Some Thoughts

Keeping this blog living is a bit of a struggle so I'm changing my tact. I'll do less thinking and more linking, short little things to say that I'm alive, but no massive posts since I find myself starting and deleting stuff without ever posting.

If I was in Los Angeles, or near, I'd already have my ticket to see The Orb at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.  Although he's not the headliner, John Tejada is one of my favorite artists and he'll be performing there.

If I was in Texas I'd already be in Austin, kicking it at SXSW. That's South by Southwest if you don't know. Justin mentioned by comment that KEXP has a live broadcast from there, so check it out if you want to hear some good music.

Speaking of KEXP, they podcast.  Unfortunately they podcast by way of annoying xml document, and enough podcasts like this are annoying me into writing a tool that will just parse those archane xml files for links to the actual mp3 so you can download it someplace where you can find it later. Yeah, I know about jPodder and iTunes but NO THANKS I'll just store the files myself.
