The Dinner List
I don't have a complete list but there are quite a few people I think would be incredible to listen/converse with over a meal. My list usually involves authors, musicians, actors, pundits, and techies - people like Gilles Peterson, disc jockey or Bill Watterson, the artist behind Calvin & Hobbes, or an author like Neal Stephenson.
So I'm actually going to make a tadalist of these people to look over now and then. If anything it's like that box of memorabilia I'll find some time in the future. Who did I really think was interesting enough to want dinner with at 31? 32? 40?
I wonder if the reaction will be like the shrug of apathy I have to the people I thought I'd love to meet when I was 18?
