Everything ends (2002 - 2007) Several weeks ago my computer was infected with a virus. I did my best to clean it off but decided it would be smartest if I just reinstalled windows. I backed up everything I had - or so I thought - and only after my new version of windows was running did I realize I'd forgotten to back up my blog. I've been planning to close up though for a while; I somehow lost my voice here. I also knew I needed to get away from the Userland software that powered this blog. I wrote a little python script to archive the contents of this blog which I'll post in the close future from my site: http://hobbitwerk.brinkster.net. I'll blog again in time, but for now use http://hobbitwerk.brinkster.net to track me down. When I started this blog a lot of people thought it was a waste of time. "Who are you to start a blog?" - I could sense the attitude. But in the last five years I stored some precious memories and made some great friends.
