Web 2.0
If it's about Web 2.0, no matter which other category it might fit, it goes here. That way I don't waste space with duplicate entries.

Dept. of Huh?

I don't know what to do with this, but the table of APIs looks too good to lose track of.

Web 2.0 Meme Map.

Tim O'Reilly has posted this map, developed at a "What is Web 2.0?" brainstorming session at FOO Camp 2005. Pointed to by Dave Winer, who says Web 2.0 is Really Simple. According to  Mike Arrington (TechCrunch), "Simple is better. We’re not at simple yet."

Update: Dion Hinchcliffe offers a different map of Web 2.0. [Web Services Journal] I kind of like this one better, in that it identifies the user-facing side separately from the content and services.

Got time on your hands and three or four thousand dollars (registration fee is $2750, the rest is for airfare and hotel) burning a hole in your pocket? The Web 2.0 Conference is next week (October 5-7) in San Francisco. Dave Winer was pointedly NOT invited to be on the program by O'Reilly. Any chance any of the leaders in this business will ever be mature enough to rise above their differences? Not holding my breath ...

Yet another update (Oct. 1): Tim O'Reilly explains what is Web 2.0? and also claims credit for originating the idea (maybe this explains some of Dave Winer's comments about venture capitalists, etc.). O'Reilly's article is interesting anyway, no matter which side of the controversy you come down on.
