The quest for French fluency (or, at least, competency) is in full swing.  I've chosen a combination of grammar exercises and radio listening to prepare for the upcoming exam (in twenty-odd days).  Two hours of grammar and one hour of radio each day should serve to become familiar with most of the exam content; for someone who is working full-time, I think this is an ambitious but achievable goal.

I haven't worked on or at something this intensely since my application essays to business school almost one year ago.  It is more encouraging, in a sense, because I can already see (hear?) progress, as my radio listening becomes more sophisticated.  I listen to RFI, which I love for many reasons, but its perfect accent and enunciation are a great help to someone in my situation.  And I get that great combination of news, culture, and music that they do like no-one else.
