This program, which costs $38, will convert any number of image files to PDF. Acrobat somehow lost the plugin that allowed more than one TIF or JPG file to be imported during the move from version 4 to version 5. This one improves on the plugin, since any image file can be converted.
A bonus: choose Scan under this program and you can scan one or several pages, and then immediately save the result to a PDF file. Scan to PDF without Acrobat, in other words.
