Judges and the abortion question

SCOTUSblog begins today, pointing to an AP report:

The head of NARAL predicts a Senate filibuster if any nominee to the Supreme Court does not "clearly support" Roe v. Wade.

Has NARAL gone so far that it no longer has moorings in reality?  We have a conservative President, you idiots.  He is most assuredly not going to nominate someone who announces that he "clearly supports" Roe.

No one with any political sense will ever do anything "clear" when it comes to abortion at any rate.  The battles in this war have been taking place on the periphery for years, and often under the cover of darkness, as the other links in the same paragraph of the same SCOTUS entry detail.  When the question is put directly to a candidate, he or she will invariably do a dance that would put Michelle Jacobi to shame.
