I hereby declare Mahoney's Weblog Paradox: "The more interesting one's life, the less interesting one's blog." That isn't true for diligent bloggers like Dave or Paul, but for a novice like myself, who is still coming to grips with the Zen of Blogging, getting the weblog updated typically gets pushed to the back burner -- and then pushed completely off the back of the stove.
I've been rather caught up with finding and buying a house, selling our condo, preparing to move (Friday is the big day), and taking over control (lawn care, mostly) of our new house. We've managed to squeeze in a Miami Film Festival movie (The Beat, to which I got free tickets, and glad I did), a symphonic concert (an unusual, enjoyable program of Luciano Berio works by the New World Symphony led my Michael Tilson Thomas) and a jazz/rock jamfest (the inaugural Langerado Music Festival) along the way.
These days I do my limited leisure browsing during lunch, and I don't (can't) update this blog from the office. So I kind of disappear from my usual online haunts and my own blog suffers. I'll be online even less for the next couple of days while the PC is packed up and moved.
