At ITS (where I work) we are grappling with web services and SOA, trying to pin down a strategy. This post from Windley says what I have had in the back of my mind but just hadn't processed fully yet.

Large Scale SOA Deployment Dramtically Increases Complexity

After a long hiatus I have decided to begin blogging again. It doesn't really matter why I have been gone or what caused me to stop, but let's just say that I am a little wiser than the last time you read a blog post from me. This blog will contain my semi-public musings. A lot of stuff about work, some stuff about flying, a little bit about my personal life. For those who used to read my work blog, I am going to make those posts available here soon. I plan on making a lot of changes when I can allocate some time.

For those of you who have linked to www.davemcnamee.com in the past, or who still do, I apologize for letting that domain slip away. I had thought I renewed it, but apparently not. Please change your links to http://radio.weblogs.com/0110870/ now if you care to still link to me. I promise it will be worth your while.

There's a lot going on, and I am excited to share my observations and thoughts with you.
