People who think Washington is passing big laws that screw up the Internet should read Ernie the Attorney's legislative agenda for DC. It's funny but when you're finished rolling on the floor, give it some thought. The courts and a little civil disobedience can fix a lot of bad laws. [Scripting News]

Updated BookEndz Docking Station ships [The Macintosh News Network] I ordered the earlier version of the BookEndz docking station. It was poorly designed, cheaply built, and did not work well. PhotoControl had awful tech support and they refused to accept a return. I'll be interested to see if this "updated" Docking Station offers incremental improvements, which would be a waste of money, or a full redesign. If they want their docking station to be taken seriously, then it must be as usable as a Dell or a ThinkPad Docking Station. The old BookEndz was a flimsy overpriced joke.
