Apparently this is a tool that allowed Groove Space users to find each other and visit/participate/publish shared spaces that others can join. Since Groove's software is in transition, it is difficult for them to keep up, and they have suspended operations.  I suspect there are other, financial, considerations (insufficient funds to keep going). 8:04:13 PM

Web oriented workaround for chat. The concept here is that when you are online, and someone visits your website, you are alerted to their presence so that you could have a chat session with them. Promoted as an interactive sales/customer service tool.  But I was directed to it via the Forums at Groove, where there was a discussion of how to have some kind of chat when people are on your URL (as opposed to when people are in a shared Groove Space). 7:57:07 PM
