My boss wants me to set up a intranet developer's portal type of thing at work. The word 'weblog' is too radical for him, so I am going to set up a weblog but call it something else.
We already have a Jetty server, so I think a free Java blogging package would be the easiest to set up. I found blojsom and CocoBlog. This is my experience so far:
I would like to get both running to the point of displaying posts and do a real comparison. For blojsom, I need to figure out how to post and where to store the posts. For CocoBlog I need to experiment with the Xindice examples and also get a basic understanding of Cocoon in order to decipher the exceptions that are being thrown.
