I installed a CVS server locally over the weekend. It's just available to me here on my home network. I figured it was a good way to keep various files 'safe.' Of course, next week I'm sure I'll set up something similar with Subversion but I just didn't have the time..
Good info on CVS can always be found in the book. It's kind of cool to work with the author. Always helps when I need a quick answer..
