Ambrosia releases free WireTap audio utility. Ambrosia Software Inc. has released a new audio utility called WireTap. Designed for Mac OS X 10.2 "Jaguar" or later, WireTap enables users to record any audio playing on the Mac -- whether it's an audio stream from an Internet radio station, sound from DVD Player, game audio, iChat AV conversations, or more. Released as freeware, WireTap works using a tape recorder-style interface, according to Ambrosia. You click the Record button and any audio playing through your Mac will be recorded to disk, regardless of the source. [MacCentral]
