Last night Amy and I went and did the first part of the Open Water certification for Scuba. It was a lot of fun, but I must admit I had a bit of trepidation doing it at first.
In the beginning I was okay with the regulator, but when we had to do the part with taking it out of our mouth I became anxious and started to breath rapidly, and had to come up. After a bit I went down again and eventually did it, but it was definately something that I didn't expect to be so nervewracking for me.
Amy did great. She flew through it all and did a great job on all the skills.
We're going again on Thursday.
