I've upgraded to MoveableType 2.63. Very easy and everything went without a hitch

I read this article about Larry Lessig today. It's a bit dated (lost the Eldred v. Ashcroft case), but very informative and interesting.

What is even more interesting is what the Eldred people are doing now. Since the Supreme Court ruled that congress can extend the copyright term, now they are looking to get congress to make it so that if you don't pay a $1 tax on something that is over 50 years old, it falls into the public domain.

A very interesting solution to the problem of works being out there that nobody sees, or buys becuase people have them locked away in their safes and won't let them out. I'd be interested to see how the whole thing shapes up.

As for me....I'm not sure yet where I sit on the whole copyright issue.
