Cosmic Jumping Shoes
While BlogSurfing a few days ago, I found a real jewel. Lisa Thompson has created a Blog Of Note, using the natural world to reflect a deep and rich inner life. Her blog is field notes:. Check it out.
And so I wish her a good pair of jumping shoes -
"An infinite universe will always have the capacity to surprise. The Earth moves. And stones fall from heaven. Tonight, Perseids clatter to the Earth like hailstones. They embed themselves in Arctic ice caps. They sprinkle the forests of the Amazon with a fine cometary dust. Meteors clatter at my feet and I dance in the road. 'Up, noble soul!' cried Meister Eckhart. 'Put on your jumping shoes which are intellect and love.' I put on my jumping shoes and go leaping between the hedgerows."
