Offshoring and beyond
Another interesting article on outsourcing. The article recommends altering the business process, to take advantage of the local conditions, before exporting it. Of particular interest is the mention of Tata Indica and how it requires a volume of just 150,000 units to break even. This is just a fraction of what is needed by other car makers such as Suzuki, Hyundai.
