Microsoft's entrance to spark corporate IM. Riding a tide of desktop domination, Microsoft's latest foray into presence is expected to kick-start corporate adoption of IM. Lateness to market, however, has analysts skeptical as to how the offering will compete against those of longtime collaboration players such as IBM. [InfoWorld: Top News] This is something that would be great if we would consider.  Becuse of secuirty risks it is totally banned here. Infodata has released a new product aimed at government markets.  Called Content Assembly and Publishing Solution for the Government and Intelligence Communities, the product integrates with content management tools to collaborate in the production of PDF documents. In the latest newsletter from the Office of Intergovernmental Solutions, Martha Dorris asks, "Can governments afford not to collaborate?"  There is also an article on the National Integrated Land System (NILS) which is "the first step toward an E-government solution for a common, parcel-based Geographic Information System (GIS) that shares land record information among federal, state, and local governments, as well as with the private sector."   Geocommunicator provides a portal for many of these services. These five gay stylists take over a straight guy's life and fix him up.  I told her it sure didnt seem like much of an idea.  It came on last night while I was doing some work on the computer.  It was hoot.
