Gateway to release PC with 3.06GHz hyperthreading chip. New technology for high-end machines [InfoWorld: Top News] The new computer wont be cheap.
The 700XL will not come cheap, with a configuration including 512M bytes of RDRAM (Rambus dynamic RAM), a 400G-byte hard drive, and a 19-inch display priced at US$3,499. Users also get DVD and CD recordable drives and ATI Technologies Inc.'s Radeon 9700G Pro AGP Graphics Accelerator card with the 700XL.
The DO have another more reasonable priced one to consider. It will be interesting to see how te new Dell will match up.
