My Evergreen IP colleagues, John Funk and Vandy Van Wagener, have launched their own blogs: View from the Bridge and The Innovation Highway, respectively.
Prior to co-founding EIP, John founded or co-founded three other successful companies. His love for the process of creation is bolstered by a JD/MBA and intellectual property expertise.
Given the 20+ years he spent in marketing and general management roles at P&G, it should come as no surprise that Vandy has a very strong consumer orientation. He makes sure that we at EIP always keep an eye downstream as we go through the process of selecting, developing, monitoring, and validating prospective innovations.
In short, John, Vandy, and I have significantly different perspectives, which we believe translates into productive friction. I hope you'll appreciate John and Vandy's writing as much as I.
