Thomas Wilmer Dewing Paintings: As many of you know I am generally not much of a fan of impressionist paintings, but recently I have been doing a little research on Thomas Wilmer Dewing.  He was apparently quite prolific and did some pretty attractive work, mostly warm and somber in mood.  Here are a few of my latest finds:

The Hermit Thrush (1890)

The Lute (1904)

Commerce and Agriculture Bringing Wealth to Detroit (1906)

TheNecklace (1907)

In the Garden (1892)

The Recitation (1891)
