Silicon Republic recently published a story about how a major Dutch insurer uses Vordel to manage and secure it's SOA. Far from it's staid reputation, the insurance industry is an early adopter of SOA technologies, because its business revolves around integration: integrations with brokers/agents, integration with banks, and integration with comparison quotation sites.
