Park Ridge Library and the November ballot: Library issues will be on the ballot in Park Ridge, Illinois.  Area residents collected signatures on three separate petition questions including the construction of a more modern library building, according to this article in the Park Ridge Herald Advocate, a Pioneer Press newspaper. 11:52:57 AM

Leave no public library behind: This Christian Science Monitor article ran in the commentary section on August 23.  It focuses on the good that public libraries have accomplished, particularly those in New York.  Thanks Joel!
