I saw somewhere that you can now link Jabber or AIM with RadioUserland. It can be used to post to a Weblog via a chat client. What about a tool that would send the transcript of a finished conversation to an archive directory on a Blog? Here is an example:
John and James are discussing through instant messaging about a current project. At the end of the conversation, James either type a "special keyword" of press a button and the whole transcript is sent to his copy of Radio Userland through XML-RPC. Once in Radio it is formatted and upstreamed to the project "chat archive" directory for everybody to see. An anchor could be posted in front of each sentence to allow somebody else to link to an exact point in the conversation.
I managed to find time to wrap and ship back my SX6000 as planned. I wonder how long it will take to get the new one?? I thoroughly documented all my problems. I hope they'll read this and act on it. It's not because a product is bleeding edge that it shouldn't play well with other bleeding edge product (i.e. my Tyan Tiger MPX).
