Musing in India

Tuesday nigh I went for dinner to a nice Indian restaurant (what else?) called Khyber
On Wednesday I flew from Mumbai to Delhi on Jet Airways. Nice but late. The Hyatt is OK. I went to a bad Chinese/Japanese restaurant called Lotus Garden. It is next to the Hyatt. Definitely NOT recommended.
I have yet to get an honest cab driver here:
*One didn't want to use its meter
*Two pretended not to have change and asked for a tip on top of that
*One had the "wrong" meter running (meters instead of Rs)
There was an article Thursday on O'Reilly network (http://linux.oreillynet.com/pub/a/linux/2003/03/03/uml_smp.html) showing how to test SMP-aware code on an uniprocessor machine using UML. Can I use UML + Open Mosix to have a "real" multiprocessor/UML solution? Anybody?
Later today I'll be shopping for... diamonds! My mum wants a pendant for a chain she got from my father and I want a pair of earings for my wife. Lucky girls!
