A VB.NET client for nxgate 0.3

I am working on a VB.NET XML-RPC client for my nxgate server. I am using Charles Cook's excellent XML-RPC library for VS.NET.
I started this program for 2 reasons:
  1. Get acquainted with VS.NET and see how different VB.NET is from VB6
  2. Get to know more about XML-RPC and the quirks related with cross-platform and cross-language development.

I soon as it will be done, I'll post it here. I have now just a few issues to tackle.

Security issues with W2K

File sharing on my local area network of Windows 2000 machines just stopped working a few weeks back. On investigation and head-scratching, with the help of Lawrence Lee, this howto did the trick. But why? I had never been to the Security Policy tool, I had never even heard of it. How did two of my machines both get this misconfigured? Mysteries. [Scripting News]
