Apparently there is an issue with the new iMacs and iTunes - total system freezes when browsing music either in iTunes or Front Row. The discussion forums at Apple have numerous instances of this. I have had this happen 3-4 times in two weeks, which hasn't been nice. Only a reboot fixes the problem. The system continues to work, but the display is frozen. Perhaps this is a problem with the display drivers and iTunes, or something more exotic. I hope a software update is ready soon. (Typical early adopter experience this one.)
